Es mag an der Uhrzeit liegen, aber ich kriege den Anschluss "and functioning" hier im Deutschen nicht recht untergebracht:

"WARRANTY:
The provision shall be fulfilled pursuant to the rules of practice. It shall be guaranteed against all faults in design, construction and material defects, whether apparent or hidden, *and functioning*."

Sollen das nun Funktionsdefekte sein, oder wie versteht ihr diesen Anschluss?

not too sure here but I think it means "in effect" but let's see what others have to say ...

and have no Umlauts on this keyboard so forgive the less than attractive "ue" in "gueltig" :)
