English to German translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Law: Contract(s) / Divestment of assets | | English term or phrase: deed restricted (against residential use) | In the context of a series of slides in an Exxon presentation entitled
"Non-Retail Surplus Assets Divestment Decision Tree".
This is the first in a series of boxes entitled:
1) Can site be deed restricted against residential use
2) Place restrictions on deed
3) Is site likely to be developed for residential use
4) Is site likely to be condemned
I've thought of something along the lines of:
Gibt es laut den Eigentumsübertragungsurkunden für den Standort Einschränkungen hinsichtlich seiner Nutzung für Wohnzwecke?
but would appreciate confirmation (or otherwise).

Wie die ersten beiden Sites in der Folge zeigen, sind diese "deeds" Urkunden, die kommunal oder vom Gesetzgeber allgemein die Nutzung von Land, Gebäuden oder Grundstücken für bestimmte Zwecke "beschränken". Das gibt es in Deutschland auch und heißt dann Nutzungsbeschränkung. Manchmal, bei Naturschutzgebieten steht dann "gesetzliche Nutzungsbeschränkung". In Deinem Fall bin ich mir nicht sicher, ob man überhaupt das "urkundlich" braucht. Vielleicht ist aber ein solcher Zusatz zur näheren Bezeichnung der Art der Nutzungsbeschränkung nötig.
