Wie würdet Ihr hier "to defend" übersetzen. Im 2. Fall mit "abwehren" und im 1 Fall mit "sich einsetzen für"??

| | defend, compromise ... | Explanation: Im ersten Fall fehlt ein Komma zwischen "defend" und "compromise". Denn XXX hat die Vollmacht, Forderungen, Anssprüche oder Klagen "abzuwehren" (to defend), "auf dem Vergleichswege oder außergerichtlich beizulegen" (to compromise) oder "zu regulieren" (to settle).
Im 2. Fall ist die Sache dank des Kommas klarer.
