noch einmal die Flüssigkristalle

The ***cell gap*** was set to 6 µm (obtained by Si02 spacers which were deposited by a general method), and the liquid crystal material was introduced into the cell in the isotropic phase.

Wenn ich richtig liege, geht es um den Abstand der beiden Innenwände einer Flüssigkristallzelle, also den "Innenraum"- ich habe daher behelfsweise die Übersetzung "Stärke der Flüssigkristallschicht" als Arbeitbegirff verwendet.

Wer kann mir den korrekten Fachbegriff liefern?
