Law/Patents - Law: Patents, Trademarks, Copyright | | English term or phrase: primary IP | In einer Lizenzvereinbarung taucht häufiger "Primary IP" auf. Zum Beispiel in den Definitionen:
"Background IP means any Intellectual Property Rights of xxx in related to the xxx Technology (including the Technical Information) other than the Primary IP."
Background IP sind die Eigentumsrechte des Vertragspartners, aber was ist "Primary IP"? Sind das die eigenen Eigentumsrechte?

Für "primäre" Eigentumsrechte finde ich nichts, aber für die Gegenüberstellung von unmittelbaren ./. abgeleiteten Rechten schon eher (Letztere werden anscheinend auch Rechtsderivate genannt). |
