English term or phrase: to pray for judgement
"WHEREFORE, XXX(company name) prays for judgment against Defendants as follows:"

Last part of a complaint. "pray for" in this context could not really be "beten"?
I would take "bitten" but did'nt find a positive reference anywhere.
thanks for helping :)

Hiermit beantrage .... gegen den ... folgendermaßen zu entscheiden
Explanation:
The prayer follows the pleadings in US English court proceedings, filings, etc.

It is a request. You request something from the court d.h. im Deutschen einen Antrag stellen. Die Reihenfolge ist nur anders im Deutschen (Klageantrag = Teil der Klageschrift).

disagree  Elisabeth Moser: zu bedenken is not right, b/c the attorney seems to represent the complainant/plaintiff and seems to seek judgment against the Respondant/Defendant
