Schreiben eines brit. Autohändlers an eine dt. Zollbehörde. Es geht um Auto, die von Finnland in die Ukraine gingen. Das dt. Finanzamt hat jetzt eine debt assessed, wogegen der Autohändler Einspruch eingelegt hat:

Punkt 5) You accepted that proof of export of all the vehicles had been lodged with the Oldenburg Customs office, but you did not accept that this discharged the liabilities, as had been understood by N.

Our appeal to you against this decision is as follows:
C) That it is acknowledged that the export of the vehicles noted at 5) above ***discharges*** the VAT / EU tax value calculated at 16%.

Explanation:
...dass der Export der oben unter 5) genannten Fahrzeuge vom auf 16 % festgelegten MwSt./EU-Steuerwert befreit ist.

Interessanterweise würde hier eine Transposition vom aktiv gebrauchten Verb im Ausgangstext zu einer passiven Verwendung des Verbs im Zielsatz stattfinden...
