2. LOCAL OR MUNICIPALITY TAXES.-
In this group we have the I.B.I. (similar to the *contribution tax* in the U.K.) and the garbage or rubbish Tax.
A) IBI (Impuesto sobre Bienes Inmuebles).- This a real estate tax levied by the local Town Hall and it is usually in the region of 0’6% and 0’85% of the cadaster value (depends on each Town Hall).
B) Garbage or rubbish.- It has a different formula for its calculation, depending on each Town Hall.
