English to German translations [PRO] Law: Taxation & Customs | | English term or phrase: Hindu Undivided Family | On an "Return of Income" from India you have to indicate your status (i.e. "individual", "Local Authority" etc.)
In another instance there is the term "Karta of Hindu Undivided Family". Can anyone help me out here? |

| | HUF | Explanation: The "Hindu Undivided Family (HUF)" is a juridical person India. It should therefore no be translated. You would not translate "GmbH", would you? Treat "HUF" the same way! Explain in a footnote, if needed!
