German translation: Nachlassverwalterzeugnis

Law/Patents - Law: Contract(s)
English term or phrase: estate grant
This is the context of the term:
"Please be advised that we cannot apply for an estate grant to prove the Will and act as the estate administrator until we receive the Renunciation and Consent signed by your client."
The sentence stems from a letter from the organisation who handles the estate to the lawyer of the heir. I don't really understand what "estate grant" and "prove the will" means and how I should phrase it in German.
I would appreciate your input! Thanks a lot in advance!

German translation:Nachlassverwalterzeugnis
Explanation:
“Estate grant“ steht verkürzt für „grant for the administration of the estate“: "Genehmigung zur Verwaltung des Nachlasses", oder „Genehmigung, als Nachlassverwalter zu handeln“; das sogenannte Nachlassverwalterzeugnis.

„to prove a will“ bezieht sich auf das „Einholen der gerichtlichen Testamentsbestätigung“; in Deutschland erfüllt der Erbschein diese Funktion.

Der ganze Vorgang ist hier ganz gut erklärt:

“Please be advised that we cannot apply for an estate grant to prove the Will and act as the estate administrator until we receive the Renunciation and Consent signed by your client."

Wir weisen Sie hiermit darauf hin, dass wir erst dann die Ausstellung eines Nachlassverwalterzeugnisses und die gerichtliche Bestätigung des Testaments beantragen können, wenn wir eine von Ihrem Mandanten unterschriebene (diesbezügliche) Verzichts- und Einverständniserklärung erhalten haben.
