Ich bin mir nicht sicher: wird hier wirklich die "Bestellung eines Vormunds" verwendet oder ist doch die Verwendung des "Erziehungsberechtigten" möglich. Mir ist scheints leider das richtige Wort entfallen.

Kontext: es geht um eine Scheidungsurkunde, obige Phrase ist die Überschrift, dann folgt: "Unless a contrary intention is shown in the instrument of appointment, any appointment under section5(3) or 5(4) of the Children Act 1989 by one spouse of his or her former spouse as guardian is ... deemed to have been revoked ...."

Explanation:
Ich würde trotzdem Vormund nehmen, da es im Deutschen ja noch die Unterscheidung "Erziehungsberechtigter" / "Alleinerziehungsberechtigter" gibt und hier auch nicht von "legal guardian" gesprochen wird.

Explanation:
So entnehme ich es aus meinem 'de Gruyter' Lexikon. Dort wird auch u.a. der Begriff 'Pfleger' erwähnt, der nicht so passt.

Übrigens wird der Begriff "Vormund" - je nach Kontext in GB mit 'custodian', d.h. Vormundschaft mit 'custody' übersetzt.
