Just leave it in English here, every German understands that...

Ich tendiere auch zu dem von Dir vorgeschlagenen "vertreten durch", nicht fungierend, es ist allerdings stärker als "acting through....

Auf der unten angegebenen Webseite wusste der Übersetzer wohl auch nicht, wie er es übersetzen sollte und hat es in Englisch belassen...



Ich würde mir da nicht selbst ein Bein stellen...
