"Glauben" klingt doch sehr komisch, muss das nicht "erkläre" heißen, oder gibt es einen anderen terminus technicus?

Normalerweise, d.h. IN DER ENGLISCHEN JURISDIKTION, lautet die Formulierung “... believe that the facts stated in this document are true and correct.”
