English term or phrase: appeal book
The appeal books are the documents that the Court of Appeal has before it when it hears the appeal. They contain copies of the documents that the Court will need to decide the questions of fact and law that are raised in the appeal.
Can someone help me please to find the correct German term for appeal book. Is "Einspruchsunterlagen"a term in this context? Many thanks.

Rechtsmittelakten
Explanation:
The German has Einspruch, Widerspruch, Beschwerde, Berufung, Revision, etc., for appeal, depending on the relevant proceedings. Rechtmittel would be a term that covers all.

The link below indicates that it is a "real" book. I think we don't have an equivalent thing in Germany so you may use any combination with Buch, Akten or Unterlagen and, depending on the context, you might put the English term in brackets.
