There are no other proposals to assist landowners by purchasing "BLIGHTED" land in advance of the scheme proceeding.
There is a right in limited circumstances for a landowner, whose property is designated for development by public schemes, to require that his property be purchased ahead of the scheme going forward. The general statutory provisions for "BLIGHT" are expected to apply to the project.
