Die Parteien sind Vermieter/Mieter (landlord/tenant) oder Verpächter/Pächter (lessor/lessee). Vereinbarungen über die Nutzung von beweglichem Vermögen wie Autos, Computern und Kopiergeräten werden für gewöhnlich als Leasingvereinbarung (leasing agreement) bezeichnet, ihre Parteien als Leasinggeber/Leasingnehmer (lessor/lessee).
