|how do you translate that into acceptable german on a legal document certifying the authenticity of a passport|
so often used but what is the best german equivalent?
Quite self-explanatory, really. It also works the other way round, whenever I'm faced with "Bescheinigung" on official German documents => to whom it may concern.
