Bei Seuchengefahr werden die Schweine während des Zuchtprogramms entfernt (höhere Anzahl an Schlachtungen), um die Einheit zu desinfizieren. Danach dementsprechend wieder aufgefüllt. Gibt es vielleicht einen treffenden Ausdruck für diese beiden Programme? Many thanx in advance! |

Die Bestandsreduzierung um 0,95 Mill. Schweine (- 3,9 Prozent) seit der Viehzählung vom Dezember 1994 resultiert aus Bestandsabstockungen unterschiedlicher Höhe in nahezu allen Bundesländern (lediglich im Saarland und in Sachsen-Anhalt waren mit 1,2 Prozent bzw. 0,1 Prozent leichte Zuwächse zu verzeichnen). Dabei fiel der prozentuale Rückgang in den neuen Ländern mit 5,7 Prozent (193 100 Tiere weniger) deutlich höher aus als im früheren Bundesgebiet mit 3,6 Prozent (761 200 Tiere weniger).
