In a zone of improved upland pasture some 2 km east of the Cistercian monastery of Strata Florida (Ystrad Fflur), Ceredigion, are the earthwork remains of a ‘sheepcote’ and four abandoned medieval farms, one probably originating as a monastic **sheep-handling station**.

okay, handling hat zwar auch was mit (Waren-) Umschlag zu tun,
könnte als auch Verkauf bedeuten,

aber sheep-handling führt bei google auf Seiten in Bezug auf Schafe scheren.
