Ist zwar wieder mal "Denglish", aber einer meiner Kunden (Personalberatung) benutzt das tatsächlich so. Im Internet lassen sich auch einige zuverlässig erscheinende Quellen finden.
Leitet sich ab von "Chief", wie in CEO, CFO, CIO usw.
