Die "policy" halte ich hier für etwas überflüssig, der Begriff ist mittlerweile absolut verschwommen und vage geworden...

"Strategisch" ginge hierfür vielleicht noch, aber Dein Beispielsatz ist auch ohne diesen Begriff schon ziemlich beladen mit Gemeinplätzen der Unternehmensphilosophie.

Man könnte es natürlich auch umdrehen, aber dann wird es länger - da die \"policy\" auch ein Grundsatz sein kann, böte sich als Alternativlösung an:

\"externe Initiativen/Vorhaben im Einklang mit unseren (Unternehmens)grundsätzen\"

  -> Es tut mir Leid, dass Sie solche Regel noch nicht kennen. Anstatt "a" mit Umlaut kann man "ae" schreiben. Das ist doch klar.
