English term or phrase: demonstrate exemplary governance
Im Code of Conduct eines großen internationalen Unternehmens (einer Bank) heißt es im Abschnitt "Responsibilities to our communities and regulators":
"You must be responsive to our communities and ***demonstrate exemplary governance*** at all times."
Im Text heißt es weiter:
"A key part of ***exemplary governance*** is maintaining strong and effective relationships with local regulators and governments."
Der Code of Conduct gilt für alle Mitarbeiter.
Meines Erachtens bezieht sich "governance" in der Überschrift auf den Einzelnen und heißt "sich führen" und im Text auf das Unternehmen und heißt "Unternehmensführung",
also:
"Sie haben sich jederzeit vorbildlich zu führen" (Überschrift) und
"Ein wichtiger Teil vorbildlicher Unternehmensführung ist es, enge und effiziente Beziehungen zu Aufsichtsbehörden und sonstigen Behörden zu unterhalten."

Denke, es bedeutet mehr als sich vorbildlich führen. Im ersten Teil geht es m. E. um das Verhalten innerhalb des Unternehmens, im zweiten darum, wie man das Unternehmen nach außen vertritt
