Es geht um den Code of Conduct eines internationalen Unternehmens ABC mit Sitz in den USA.

Ein Kapitel heißt
"Political involvement, Lobbying and ***Contributions***
ABC encourages its employees to ***contribute*** to the community ...
But ABC employees must also comply with the laws governing involvement in political affairs, including laws regulating political ***contributions*** and lobbying."

"Contribute to the community" allein würde ich wohl mit "sich politisch engagieren" übersetzen, aber das ist schon durch "political involvement" besetzt.
Offensichtlich geht es um ein ganz bestimmtes Engagement.
