Ich übersetze eine PowerPoint-Präsentation für die Mitarbeiter eines weltweit tätigen US-Unternehmens, in der genaue Anweisungen gegeben werden, was die Mitarbeiter in Bezug auf die Geheimhaltung vertraulicher Informationen von Kunden zu tun bzw. zu unterlassen haben.

“DO NOT assume that anyone outside your direct ***supervisory chain*** that asks you to provide them with Service Customer Confidential Information is automatically entitled to access.”

Mir ist der éingesternte Ausdruck bisher nicht begegnet, es gibt aber mehrere Google-Treffer, leider keine Übersetzung.
Was genau ist damit gemeint? Die Berichtslinie?

Projekthierarchie


Explanation:
Eine Hierarchie ist als ein Unterstellungsverhältnis zwischen Vorgesetzten und Untergebenen definiert.

In diesem Unternehmen ist eine Hierarchie eingerichtet, um ein Projekt oder eine Aufgabe abzuarbeiten, das ergibt der vorgelegte Kontext.

In der Kirche oder beim Militär wäre es nur Hierarchie, hier lautet mein Vorschlag Projekthierarchie.

Hierarchie und Vorgesetzer halte ich für redundant.
