vielleicht handelt es sich bei der "neuen Strategie" um "just-in-time-production", so dass eben immer nur grad soviel Produktionsmaterialien auf Lager sind/sein müssen, um der gegenwärtigen Nachfrage/Produktion gerecht zu werden.
On second thought würde ich eher zu meinem zweiten Vorschlag "Lagerbestand" tendieren. "Inventuraufwand" passt wohl eher nicht in deinen Kontext.
