"Freeze" scheint ein in der Softwareentwicklung üblicher Begriff zu sein (Definition freeze date siehe Link). In vielen deutschen Dokumenten wird von einem "Freeze-Datum" oder einem "Freeze-Termin" gesprochen, gemeint ist das Gleiche.
