Aus der Beschreibung einer Spritzgießmaschine, dies ist eine der wählbaren Funktionen. Leider nicht besonders ausführlich erklärt. Ich habe auch keine Beschreibung der eigentlichen Maschine, das es hier um die Steuerungssoftware geht.

"*Cold drop*: The function will be activated before injection starts to remove the cold material out of the screw."

Weiss jemand den deutschen Fachausdruck?

Spekulativ: Analog zu Tunnelöfen könnte man vielleicht von Kaltausstoß sprechen. Kann leider aus zeitlichen Gründen nicht (weiter)recherchieren.
