Marketing - Marketing / Market Research / Lebensmittelsicherheit / Audit | | English term or phrase: Stealth Unit | Aus einem Fragebogen zum Thema Lebensmittelsicherheit (Audit). An der fraglichen Stelle geht es um den Schutz vor Ungeziefer, Insekten usw.. Als mögliche Einrichtungen werden dabei genannt:
- air curtains, Insect-O-Cutors, insect prevention devices or *Stealth Units*
Stealth Units (versal geschrieben) finde ich nur im Zusammenhang mit Internet-Spielen, Kriegsspielen und ähnlichem. Ich gehe deshalb davon aus, dass es sich um einen Markennamen für eine bestimmte Vorrichtung gegen Insekten/Ungeziefer handelt. Weiss jemand Näheres? Vielen Dank! |

Moin, ja, so verstehe ich das auch. Die thailändisch-englische Seite gefunden mit: "stealth units" +insects -game, aber auch so finden sich fast nur Links zu Ballerspielen.

Asker: Vielen Dank! Ich dachte, die Insect-O-Cutors seien diese Lichtfallen mit Drähten, auf denen die Insekten dann «gegrillt» werden. Stealth Units wären dann also quasi dasselbe, nur dass die Insekten auf Klebeflächen gefangen statt mit Strom vernichtet werden, oder?
