English to German translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.) | | English term or phrase: commodity - raw steel | es geht um einen allgemein gehaltenen Text über die Stahlbranche. In dem folgenden Absatz ist mir nicht ganz klar, wie man "commodity" übersetzt. Insbesondere am Absatzanfang in Verbindung mit dem "Most raw steel". Bei Rohstahl handelt es sich zum Großteil um einen Rohstoff? Passt doch irgendwie nicht, oder? Ich würde (als Laie in diesem Bereich) denken: entweder Rohstoff oder nicht. Handelsgut? Bin etwas ratlos und bedanke mich für eure Antworten.
