Immerhin laufen die meisten Übersetzungen von "clarified XY" in meinen Wörterbüchern auf "Klar-XY" hinaus, in meinem uralten "Fachwörterbuch f.d. Glasindustrie" von E. Hoffmann (1963) finde ich jedoch "clear glass" = "Klarglas". Aber die Begriffe können sich ja mit der Zeit ändern. |

Explanation: Triplex ist eine Marke, das Material an sich ist dreischichtiges Glas. Bliebe nur zu klären, wie der Begriff "clarified" am besten zu übersetzen ist. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob "klar", insgesamt also "klares dreischichtiges Glas" korrekt ist.
Etwas mehr Info wäre gut.
