Hallo,
"Coupon and First Part Qualification cut-up testing" ist eine der Prüfmethoden einer Firma, die Bauteile (z.B. für Flugzeuge, Autos, Boote) aus thermoplastischen Verbundwerkstoffen herstellt.

Auf Anfrage bekam ich folgende Erklärung durch den Kunden:
"a coupon is a usually rectangular section of material, cut from a larger piece, and used for testing purposes "eprouvette" in French, first-part qualification cut-up is a procedure in aerospace where the first component manufactured is examined for certification purposes, in this case but cutting it up !"

Ich kann mir vorstellen, was gemeint ist, wäre aber trotzdem dankbar für eure Hilfe!

Explanation:
Also bei coupon gehe ich mal stark davon aus, dass es sich dabei einfach um einen "Teststreifen" handelt und der Rest ist wohl eine Qualitätskontrolle durch Aufschneiden/Zerreißen (je nach Werkstoff) der ersten vom Band gelaufenen Teile.
