From a presentation about surface treatment processes:

"Air plasma is a new type of treatment which improves the bonding characteristics of a large variety of materials".

Ich weiß zwar ungefähr, was man unter Air-Plasma Verfahren versteht, bin mir aber zum einen nicht sicher, ob ich das einfach stehen lassen kann (anstatt Luft-Plasma), und zum anderen, ob es sich hierbei um das gleiche wie "atmosphärisches Plasma" handelt? Kennt sich hier jemand aus?

Bei der atmosphärischen Plasmatechnik wird gas mittels Hochspannung unter Umgebungsdruck derart angeregt, dass ein Plasma zündet.
Luftplasma: Als Prozeßgas in der Vakuumkammer wird Luft verwendet.

Ich denke mal, dass hier der Unterschied zur Vakuum-Plasmatechnologie herausgestellt werden soll, weshalb ich atmosphärisch auch für richtig halte.
