English to German translations [PRO]
Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.) / ceramics | | English term or phrase: box tile / bowl tile | From the database of a furniture company -- just a list of words, no further context.
From what I found on the Internet, box tiles seem to be ornaments stuck onto a wooden base , so they have some sort of "surround" but are on top this, whereas bowl tiles seem to be inserted into a surround which is higher than the file itself (Einlegefliesen??)
Any help would be much appreciated. |

ich würde in Kombination mit dem Begriff \"Kachel\" (damit werden Wände gekachelt) weitersuchen, da \"Fliesen\" für den Bodenbelag bestimmt sind.
