cohort *members* were asked to report on specific parental mental illnesses

Can I use *Kohorte Mitglieder*?

Sounds strange to me - perhaps there is a better way of saying this. I appreciate any help.

Explanation:
Ich würde das hier verwenden.

Man ist nicht Mitglied wie in einem Verein.

Andererseits, man ist auch nicht Angehöriger wie Familienangehöriger - da ist ja die Bindung noch stärker als im Verein.

Also reine Geschmackssache.
