Ja (nach Deiner Note): Interquartilabstand wird auch oft benutzt. Ebenfalls einfach \"Quartilabstand\".

Ups, ich war ein wenig zu schnell hier - nicht Anja hätte die Frage zurückziehen, sondern ich meine Antwort etwas revidieren...

Im konkreten Fall passst die Antwort, da es sich um die Spannbreite zwischen \"the 25th and 75th percentile[s]\" handelt: Der Abstand zwischen dem 25 %-Quartil und dem 75 %-Quartil, also in der Tat der Interquartilabstand. Das ist bestimmt auch die Erklärung dafür, dass ich \"quartile\" statt \"quantile\" las. Es war trotzdem ein dummer Fehler von mir: Verzeihung.
