Tech/Engineering - Mechanics / Mech Engineering / lab device | | English term or phrase: bottom plate plug | This is a plug in the bottom plate of a hotplate/stirrer for labs. It covers up a communications port. I don't have any context as it appears in a parts list. What could be a suitable German term for these kinds of plugs that cover up ports or connectors?
