Einmal als Bildunterschrift: "bay layout" und im Satz: Lift setting: Position colums in bay using dimensions in fig 1.

Es geht um die Montage eines Lifts. Im Rest des geht es um die Aufrichtung besagter Columns (Säulen nehme ich an).

Könnte es sich bei "bay" um eine Art Halterung für einen Aufzugstopp handeln? Wie nennt sich das dann in Deutsch?

Handelt es sich nicht um den Schacht unter dem Aufzug, in dem duie Hydraulik usw. montiert wird?
