Tech/Engineering - Mechanics / Mech Engineering | | English term or phrase: to lag (down) | Es geht um eine Lasermarkiermaschine aus Malaysia und schon wieder bin ich auf so einen Asiatismus gestoßen. Es geht um die Aufstellung der Maschine.
Use a chalk line, alignment cord, transit, laser or other device to align the equipment as near to the carrying surface as possible. Do not *lag down* the equipment.
Und dann nochmal:
After the utilities are connected, power up the equipment and start transferring product over the equipment. *Lag* the equipment to the floor when satisfactory product transfer is accomplished and connect any attaching brackets at this time.
Zuerst dachte ich ja, dass es anstatt "lag" eigentlich "lay" heißen muss, weil es den Begriff "to lag" in Kombination mit "down" nicht zu geben scheint (jedenfalls habe ich ihn nirgendwo gefunden). Aber bei dem zweiten Beispiel bin ich mir da nicht mehr so sicher... Legen Sie das Gerät auf den Boden, wenn eine zufrieden stellende Übertragung stattgefunden hat? Hm, irgendwie komisch... Was könnte denn dieses "lag" hier noch bedeuten? |
