Bei dem Einbau der Druckluftleitungen:

The horizontal post located inside the belly pan acts as an air pressure vessel.

Habe gefunden, dass "belly pan" ein Spoiler sein kann, kann der post ein Arm sein, wie in einer KudoZ Antwort angegeben?

Explanation:
nach einigen Patenten wird "post" ein Träger oder Säule mit normalerweise rechteckigem Profil.
Ein Hohlprofil, das am beiden Enden dicht geschweisst ist, kann dann als Druckluftbehälter dienen.

Ist wohl die allgemeinste Übersetzung von "post".Ob das dann hier ein Hohlprofilträger ist, steht auf einem andferen Blatt geschrieben.

Horizontal post:
Gibt's zwar auch, im Zusammenhang mit Gartenzäunen. Siehe:

This enabled me to determine where to dig the trench in the ground and where to place the **horizontal post** (track support).

I then dug the trench to a depth and width that would accommodate the **horizontal** post and about 4" (100mm) of concrete below and around it.

Explanation:
Da es sich um Druckluftleitungen, bzw um einen Druckluftbehälter handelt, muss es ja ein Hohlkörper sein. Ein Pfosten ist normalerweise nicht hohl. "Hohlprofilträger" klingt sehr spezialisiert. Ist natürlich möglich. "Zylinder" beschränkt sich auf die Form.
Ich bin mir aber nicht ganz sicher, ob der" post" alleine als "air pressure vessel" dient (so klingt es in der Beschreibung) oder bildet er zusammen mit der "belly pan" also der Wanne ein "air pressure vessel"?
Dann muss er natürlich nicht hohl sein. Dann handelt es sich um den Stift, der ein Ventil öffnet oder verschließt.
