Jeder Film ist bekanntlich aus Einzelbildern zusammengesetzt, deren schnelle zeitliche Abfolge dem trägen menschlichen Auge die Illusion von Bewegung vermittelt. Typische Geschwindigkeiten sind 25 Bilder (oder Frames) pro Sekunde. (Beim Fernsehen und dem hierzulande benutzten PAL-System sind es 50 Halbbilder, beim amerikanischen NTSC 30 Bilder bzw. 60 Halbbilder). |
