Leider kommt der Begriff nur in der Überschrift vor, aber nicht im Text. Die Überschrift lautet 'How to Use the XXX to Wire Difficult Angles or Stent Jails'. Der Text ist eine Infobroschüre für einen Katheter zur Legung von Führungsdrähten in kniffligen Situationen. Handelt es sich hierbei vielleicht um eine Art nachträgliche Abdeckung des Stents? Oder ein Vorwachsen der Läsion in das Stentinnere? (Alles nur geraten...)c: )

Explanation: Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass es sehr schwierig ist einen Katheter durch einen Stent zu manövrieren. Deshalb würde ich den Stent-Käfig, oder das Stent-Geflecht als Stent-Jail betrachten.
Um das Gefäß zu stützen, wird anschließend ein Stent eingesetzt - ein feines, röhrenförmiges Geflecht aus chirurgischem Edelstahl. ...

Als Übersetzung würde ich "Stent" oder "Stent-Röhrchen" benutzen.
