English to German translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical: Dentistry / bone graft | | English term or phrase: opening meninx | Dieser Ausdruck kommt in der Auflistung der Kontraindikationen eines resorbierbaren Materials zur Knochentransplantation vor, ohne weiteren Kontext. Die weiteren Kontraindikationen sind: osteomyelitis, implantation in necrotic surgical sites, degenerative bone disease, intra-articular implantations und eben jenes "opening meninx".
Kann mir darauf keinen rechten Reim machen, ist damit etwa gemeint, dass eine Hirnhautverletzung vorliegt, oder wird tatsächlich die Hirnhaut für einen Transplantationsvorgang am Kiefer "geöffnet"?
Bin für jeden Hinweis dankbar. |

Ich denke schon, dass hier die Eröffnung der Hirnhäute gemeint ist. Bei Tumoren oder bei größeren Frakturen im Gesichtsschädelbereich kann ich mir schon vorstellen, dass
a) die Hirnhäute mit geöffnet/verletzt werden/wurden
b) eine Rekonstruktion mit Knochen oder Knochenersatzmaterial notwendig ist.
macht also schon Sinn |
