Prothesendruckstelle, Dekubitus, engl.: pressure sore; schmerzhafte Schleimhautveränderung (Ulzeration) mit Nekrosen; i.d.R. hervorgerufen durch nicht an das Prothesenlager angepasste Prothesen, einer Überbelastung eines Prothesenteiles durch falschen Zusammenbiss, altersbedingter Veränderung des Prothesenlagers (Knochenabbau) oder bei Eingliederung von neuem Zahnersatz - besonders dann, wenn Zähne frisch entfernt wurden (Immediatersatz).
