English to German translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical: Dentistry / digital imaging | | English term or phrase: CBCT scan (Helical cone beam computed tomography) | Hello everybody -
I cannot find a translation for the acronym CBCT scan,which stands for Helical cone beam computed tomography.The only possible translation I found was Helix CT, but I guess there must be another acronym used in German.

besonders viele Treffer gibt es allerdings nicht - und auch kein Akronym
Dies bedeutet, dass vJitter auch für die Kegelstrahl SpiralCT von Nutzen
ist, wenn die Quellenbewegung in longitudinaler Richtung zu schnell ist als dass sichergestellt
wäre, dass jeder Objektpunkt von zahlreichen unterschiedlichen Positionen
zwischen zwei Detektorzeilen Beiträge erhält.

Bei CBCT würde allerdings das "helical" fehlen; hier ist aber auch nur das englische Akronym angegeben:

Volumentomografie (DVT), die auch als Kegelstrahloder
Cone-Beam-CT (CBCT) bezeichnet wird [7].

Das Akronym für "helical cone beam computed tomography" müsste aber ***HCBC**** sein:
The object of a helical, cone-beam computed tomography, HCBCT, system is faster scan times for the volume of interest for a patient.

HCBCT soll das heißen. Also passen hier evtl. Akronym und ausgeschriebene Form in deinem Text nicht zusammen. Ich nehme jetzt mal nicht an, dass es sich um dieselben Verfahren handelt. |
