Medical - Medical: Health Care / Job Title | | English term or phrase: day sister | British usage. What the heck is a day sister? It's from an employee newsletter. Princess Anne was given a donation (which she presumably passed on) during a garden party at this charitable hospice that doesn't charge their patients for the care they receive. Here is the whole sentence:
