Medical - Medical: Health Care / medically necessary
English term or phrase: hospital confinement
Es geht um Bestimmungen einer Unfallversicherung.

"Medically Necessary means any medical service, medical supply, medical treatment or ***Hospital confinement*** (or part of a ***Hospital confinement***) that: (1) is essential for physical rehabilitative training due to the injury for which it is prescribed or performed; (2) meets generally accepted standards of medical practice; and (3) is ordered by a Physician."
Ist das schlicht ein Krankenhausaufenthalt?
Konnte den Begriff so allerdings in keinem Wörterbuch finden, deshalb bin ich unsicher.

Krankenhausaufenthalt (nach Einweisung)
Explanation:
oder Krankenhauseinweisung. Der Aufenthalt erscheint mir hier passender (wg. "part of confinement"), entscheidend ist, dass es sich um einen Aufenthalt nach Einweisung handelt (also einen medizinisch notwendigen).

Asker: Aber was soll ich mir unter "part of a Hospital confinement" vorstellen, eine "teilweise stationäre Aufnahme in ein Krankenhaus"? Das ginge doch gar nicht!
