English to German translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical: Health Care / critical care, ED | | English term or phrase: acute (code) calls | Hospital emergency codes, so-called acute calls, are used in hospitals worldwide to alert staff to various emergency situations.
The use of codes is intended to convey essential information quickly and with a minimum of misunderstanding.
Hospital emergency codes are frequently coded by color, and the color codes denote different events at different hospitals and are not universal. Some examples are shown to the left.
Some hospitals use numbers instead of colors, e.g.:
Code 50 - Non-life-threatening medical emergency
Code 99 - Medical emergency, resuscitation required
Liebe KollegInnen, wenn derartige Notrufe weltweit in KH eingesetzt werden, dann müsste es sowas eigentlich auch in Deutschland oder in Österreich geben.
Wenn das tatsächlich der Fall ist (vielleicht kann das ja jemand bestätigen), gibt es hierfür einen spezifischeren Begriff als "Notrufe"?
