The trick is to distinguish between lower back and any other kind of back.

While these devices can minimize **lower back** injuries due to lifting, they also can cause injuries to the shoulder, arm, and *back*

Ich hab mich für Gerhards Antwort entschieden, weil der durchschnittliche Fabrikarbeiter oder sein Vorgesetzter diesen Begriff versteht. Lendenwirbel ist wohl richtig, passt aber nicht in die Sprache eines Automobilwerkes. Sarmb thanks for Schäden, and thanks to all the other judges.
