English to German translations [PRO]
Medical: Instruments / Electron microscopy in surgery | | English term or phrase: depth of focus | Hallo :-)
Ich lese Korrektur und bin mir nicht sicher, ob eine bereits bestehende Übersetzung korrekt ist.
Es handelt sich hierbei um einen Text über Rasterelektronenmikroskopie (scanning electron microscopy).
Das Mikroskop wird wie folgt beschrieben: "greater magnification, depth of focus and resolution than other microscopes."
Der Ausdruck "depth of focus" wurde mit "Tiefenschärfe" übersetzt. Im Internet finde ich jedoch hierfür "Fokustiefe".
Allerdings erwähnen die meisten Seiten über Rasterelektronenmikroskopie die Ausdrücke "Tiefenschärfe" und "Schärfentiefe".
Was ist korrekt?
Fokustiefe? Tiefenschärfe? Schärfentiefe?

Im Zusammenhang mit Bildgebenden Verfahren und Mikroskopie verwende ich den Begriff "Schärfentiefe"...
Der Begriff hat ca. 190.000 Google-Hit - schau doch mal, ob's passt - Tiefenschärfe denke ich, hat eine andere Bedeutung, daher würde ich den Begriff auch ändern. |
