Neben radius, length, surface, head etc. wird auch "coverage" angegeben, und zwar u.a. für acetabular coverage, femural head und humeral head und andere.
Was heißt das, also coverage, hier?

Die periazetabuläre Osteotomie erlaubt die Korrektur der dysplastischen azetabulären Überdachung, um die Arthroseentwicklung aufzuhalten. Gute Langzeitresultate sind abhängig vom präoperativen Knorpelzustand und einer optimalen Reorientierung des Azetabulums.
